Alt rockers‘A’ have confirmed an 8-date UK tour in November 2019 which will see the band play their ‘Monkey Kong’album in full plus other hits from over their impressive 26 year career. Tickets go on sale on Friday 24th May.
Formed in 1993 in Suffolk, ‘A’ have released four studio albums and two live mini-albums – ‘A vs Monkey Kong’was released in 1999 as their second studio release and spawned the singles Old Folksand I Love Lake Tahoe.The band have played many sold-out shows across the world and inFebruary 2018 embarked on a UK tour in support of Hell Is for Heroes, followed by a 9 date tour in November playing the album Hi-Fi Seriousin full, with support from Wheatus and InMe.
Commenting on the tour Jason Perry said: “ We are VERY excited that we’re going on tour again! … And we’re going to be playing my favourite “A” record. Monkey Kong! Well most of it… not sure Yin can play “Warning” and I can’t sing “Don’t be Punks”, “Down on the Floor” isn’t the easiest either but we’ll try that.. I can’t wait to play “Summer On the Underground” and to see you guys there!”
