Accessibility at The Fleece

At The Fleece, we’re keen to promote equal opportunities for those with accessibility needs and strive to take the necessary steps to accommodate their requirements.

There are a number of ways in which we support customers to attend The Fleece, including a 2-for-1 carer ticket scheme, as well as a reservable seat/accessible space procedure. These are outlined below.

Should you wish to discuss how we can support your needs more specifically, please email us via our ‘contact us’ page.

Our accessibility handbook can be found here: The Fleece Accessibility Handbook

Personal assistance / Carer ticket scheme

We understand that some customers may require personal assistance/the presence of a carer in order to attend events at The Fleece. For this reason, we offer a free carer ticket for those who require a companion.

Please be aware that due to the limited size of the venue, we can only offer a designated amount of carer tickets and/or seating per event. Please try to plan ahead and contact us with plenty of notice to ensure you are able to reserve the relevant space/companion ticket.

How to book a PA/carer/companion ticket:

Please apply for a carer ticket as soon as you purchase your ticket for the event to allow plenty of time for us to handle the request, and increase the likelihood of available spaces for you.

In order to reserve a PA ticket, we must first see 2 forms of evidence. 1) Evidence of your purchased ticket & 2) Evidence of your accessibility needs. Please see the acceptable forms of evidence below:

For your proof of ticket – please note that we cannot search tickets using customer/ticket reference numbers – instead, please send us a screenshot of the ticket or your booking confirmation email.

Alongside your proof of purchase, please also send us a photo/scan of one of the following: Blue badge/access card, PIP/DLA letter, Hospital/GP letter, or anything of equivalence that proves your requirement of a companion/carer. Please send the 2 forms of above evidence to info@thefleece.co.uk or use our contact us page to book a carer ticket.

Our accessible area

Our accessible area is located at the end of the bar/front right of the stage.  This dedicated area is NOT a raised platform, but the view is unobstructed and gives a clear view of the stage.

Seating: We have a limited number of reservable seats and spaces in our accessible area, therefore please make sure to contact us in advance to arrange reserving a seat/space. To reserve a seat/space please email info@thefleece.co.uk, or email us via the ‘contact us’ page on our website.
