T.Rextasy are the only band to have been authorised and endorsed by Marc Bolan’s catalogue management, and are now recognised as the “official” Marc Bolan/T.Rex tribute band.

With their uncanny doppelganger lead singer and guitarist, Danielz, T.Rextasy perform a powerful and mesmerising presentation of Marc Bolan’s rock and pop anthems.

With a career spanning over 20 years, T.Rextasy have toured Worldwide, including Japan, Germany, Abu Dhabi, Sweden and Marrakech, to name a few. They have not only performed with Bolan’s contemporaries such as Roy Wood, Steve Harley, Slade, and Gary Glitter, but they have played at the impressive Wembley Arena in London, and headlined the gigantic Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan.

T.Rextasy are also the only band to have the blessing and support from Marc’s family and ex-T.Rex members, inc. June Bolan (Marc’s wife), Gloria Jones (Marc’s girlfriend), Rolan Bolan (Marc’s son), Mickey Finn (T.Rex conga player), Tony Visconti (T.Rex producer), and others. They were also voted ‘The Best Live Tribute Band in the UK’ by the BBC.

Dino Dines (the original T.Rex keyboard player) joined T.Rextasy, and played with the band for 3-4 years, before he died suddenly in 2004.

In September 2007 T.Rextasy played to 40,000 at BBC Proms Night in Hyde Park, before headlining at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London where special guests appeared with them, including Marc Almond (Soft Cell), Gloria Jones, Shakin’ Stevens, Tony Visconti, Clem Burke (Blondie drummer), Linda Lewis, Andy Ellison, Ray Dorset (Mungo Jerry), and others. A DVD of the concert was officially released in September 2008.

T.Rextasy are the only band in their category to have obtained a three album and double single deal that saw their albums released on Madman Records in the UK and Europe, and Columbia Records in Japan. In November 2008, T.Rextasy released their Christmas single on Madman Records ‘White Christmas’ on red vinyl and CD formats.

Danielz was offered a deal from Wymer Publishing to write his autobiography, which was eventually released in April 2012 entitled ‘The Spirit of Marc Bolan’.

In September 2012 T.Rextasy headlined the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London for a commemorative 35th Anniversary Concert for Marc Bolan, and invited special guests to perform alongside them, that included Boy George, Marc Almond, Tony Visconti and the Dirty Pretty Strings, Steve Harley, Noddy Holder, Lynsey dePaul, Mike Lindup, Glen Matlock, Sandie Shaw, Andy Ellison, Alvin Stardust, and Linda Lewis.
