Samurai Pizza Cats is a German electronicore/metalcore band formed in 2021 in Castrop-Rauxel. Self-described as playing “Catcore from Castrop,” the group is widely known for blending heavy metalcore and deathcore breakdowns with energetic trance and EDM electronic elements. They draw heavy thematic inspiration from 1990s anime, pop culture, video games, and humorous topics like pizza and ramen
